📌Plot Synopsis
Bill Gibson (played by Steve Cochran) and Fred McAfee (played by Mel Tormé) are two honest factory workers who witness corrupt union practices at their place of employment. The union, under the leadership of the unscrupulous and violent “Little Joe” Braun (played by Mickey Rooney), is involved in several illegal activities, including racketeering and extortion.
When Gibson and McAfee refuse to back Braun’s corrupt practices and threaten to expose him, they find themselves in grave danger. Braun, desperate to protect his empire and reputation, decides to take matters into his own hands. He kidnaps Gibson’s son to silence Gibson and McAfee and keep them from testifying against him.
As Gibson desperately tries to find his son and bring Braun to justice, he faces numerous challenges. The criminal underworld, police corruption, and even his own colleagues are obstacles in his quest. The film follows Gibson’s relentless pursuit of the truth, his efforts to rescue his son, and his determination to bring down Braun and his cronies.
